Growth in demand leads to team expansion

With continued growth in demand for Castle Building Services (Castle) innovative approach to the design and installation of mechanical and electrical services, the company has recently expanded its team with eight new appointments.


Following the launch of a new office in East Kilbride, which is headed up by director Derek Reid, Castle has created four new positions in the region. Joining Derek are Denise Holmes,(team assistant), Colin Thomson (project engineer), Jim Paterson (project manager), Peter Bradie (contracts manager) and Kenny Thomson (mechanical project engineer).


Meanwhile, based in Castle’s north east office new faces include Ailsa Reid (accounts assistant), Marie Baxter (ECO/Castle Green Services admin assistant). Additionally, following her return to business after maternity leave Emma St Pier, has taken up the role of office manager.


Commenting on the expansion of its team, Castle’s commercial director, Allan Carr, said:


“I am delighted to say that we are continuing to experience year on year growth and to that end, in order to meet that demand and support further growth we have created a number of new positions. Each of our new appointees brings with them extensive and relevant experience which will not only to support them in their new roles but allow them a seamless transition with our existing highly experienced team.”


Currently Castle employs 150 staff across both its offices and various sites across the UK.
