Scope of Works
This project is in the heart of Middlesbrough Town Centre and comprises of the conversion / refurbishment of a 4-storey derelict office building into a 138 bed Holiday Inn Express hotel with associated facilities and Retail. The building is set over four floors; the new hotel utilises some of the existing retail space on the ground floor to accommodate the hotels reception, kitchen and restaurant areas with the upper floors providing the 138 bedrooms and associate back of house facilities. The neighbouring buildings are predominantly listed so it was considered crucial that this development would take this into consideration, by respecting the character of these buildings which occupy this town Centre location.
